Industrial Scientific Announces New Corporate Structure

PITTSBURGH – In order to increase the effectiveness of its global operations following the acquisition of Oldham S.A. of France, Industrial Scientific Corporation announced changes today to its corporate structure. The following organizational changes become effective immediately.

Justin McElhattan has been named President of Industrial Scientific Corporation. This position has general management responsibility for profitable growth of the Company’s business in North andSouth America. Justin will be directly responsible for all sales and service, manufacturing, engineering, and support functions based in Pittsburgh, PA. Since joining Industrial Scientific in 1998, Justin has served in positions of increasing responsibility, including North America Sales Manager, General Manager of Service Operations, Director of Global Operations, and most recently Vice President, Operations. Justin holds a BS degree from Penn State University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University with a concentration in operations.

Jean-Marc Santraine has been named President of ISC Oldham. This position has general management responsibility for profitable growth of the Company’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Jean-Marc will be directly responsible for all sales and service, manufacturing, engineering, and support functions based in Arras, France, Dortmund, Germany and Breda, The Netherlands. Prior to joining ISC Oldham, Jean-Marc served as President and CEO of Oldham S.A. Mr. Santraine graduated from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in France with a degree in Engineering and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Dr. Annie Q. Wang has been named President of Industrial Scientific Asia Pacific. This position has general management responsibility for profitable growth of the Company’s business in the Asia Pacific region. Annie will be directly responsible for all sales and service, manufacturing, engineering, and support functions based in Shanghai, Sydney and Singapore. Dr. Wang joined Industrial Scientific in 1992 as an Optical Physicist shortly after earning a PhD degree in Optical Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology. She was promoted to Director of Research and Development in 1995 and to Vice President of Engineering and R & D in 1997. In 2000, Dr. Wang was promoted to President, Industrial Scientific China and most recently was elected as Vice President, Research and Development in June 2005.

Under this new corporate structure, the three divisional Presidents will report directly to Kent McElhattan, CEO of Industrial Scientific Corporation.
